A: You get a subdomain on my website (something.getfreedombonus.com). Your audience puts getfreedombonus@gmail.com in as the referral email, and submits the screenshots on your subdomain so it is linked with your influencer account. When I pay your audience, I pay you as well.

A: You need to be an adult, a US citizen, and reside in the US.

A: It depends. Federal law requires that I file a 1099-NEC for anyone I pay $600 or more in a year. But, if I pay you through a third-party payment processor like PayPal or Venmo, the money you receive will be on a 1099-K from them so I will not need file a 1099-NEC on you. If I pay you directly, you will need to fill out a W-9 to allow me to file the 1099-NEC. It will be easier for both of us if you choose to get paid through PayPal or Venmo, and then I won't need a W-9 from you and I won't file a 1099.

A: After we receive payment from The America PAC (Elon Musk's PAC), we'll process your payment as soon as possible. We will need some time to validate submissions.

A: If we do not receive payment from The America PAC, then we will unfortunately be unable to provide payments to participants. We do not expect problems, as Elon Musk is eager to have a lot of signatures on this petition.

A: If we receive compensation for fewer referrals than anticipated, your payment may be reduced proportionally based on the funds received. If someone submits screenshots to several influencers, they will only count the first time. If someone submits fraudulent entries, they will not be counted.

A: While you are not directly responsible for fraudulent submissions by your audience, if we notice a high rate of fraudulent submissions associated with your account, we may investigate and potentially withhold payment.

A: Encourage your audience to follow all instructions carefully, and submit genuine information. Avoid tactics that might incentivize fraudulent behavior.

A: If federal or your state prohibits us from paying you, we'll donate $5 for each of your eligible audience members who signed to a local food bank in your state and $5 for each to the Institute for Justice. Or, if you had at least 10 eligible audience members who signed, you can tell me a different non-profit organization to donate to. If your state also prohibits us from making these donations, no compensation or donation will be made.

Affiliations

  • No Affiliations: We are not endorsed by or affiliated with The America PAC or Elon Musk, other than participating in attempting to obtain signatures on the petition.

Eligibility

  • US Adults Only: You must be an adult who is a US citizen who resides in the US.
  • No Spamming: You may not send spam emails or text messages.

Payment Details

  • Compensation Amount: You will receive $10 for each person who successfully completes the above steps and uploads the screenshots to your section of my website.
  • Contingency: Your receiving the payment is contingent upon us receiving compensation from The America PAC for your referrals.
  • Proration Clause: If we receive compensation for fewer referrals than the number of participants, we reserve the right to reduce your payment proportionally.

Verification Process

  • Verification: We may need more of your contact information to comply with payment regulations.
  • Anti-Fraud: If in our sole discretion we decide your are soliciting fraudulent submissions, you will not be paid.
  • Responsibility for Referred Submissions: You are expected to promote the petition responsibly. A high rate of fraudulent submissions may result in termination of your participation and forfeiture of unpaid compensation.
  • Cooperation: Upon request, you must show us where and how you got people to sign the petition.

Federal and State Laws

  • Legal Restrictions: If federal or your state's laws prohibit compensation for getting people to sign this petition, we cannot provide the $10 payment.
  • Alternative Donation: In such cases, we will donate $5 for each person you got to sign the petition to a local food bank in your state and $5 each to the Institute for Justice on your behalf. If you had at least 10 eligible audience members who signed, you can tell me a different non-profit organization to donate to.
  • Donation Restrictions: If federal or your state's laws prohibit these donations, no compensation or donation will be made.

Payment Methods

  • Payment Methods: After receiving payment from The America PAC, we will email you with instructions on how to arrange for receiving your payment. We anticipate offering payments through PayPal, Venmo, Amazon gift cards, or ACH Direct Deposits.
  • Timing: Payments will be issued after we receive payment from The America PAC and complete verifications.

Changes to Terms

  • Modifications: We reserve the right to modify or terminate these terms or this program at any time without prior notice.
  • Notification: Any changes will be posted here.

Legalese

  • Jurisdiction: You agree that Michigan's laws apply to this opportunity and that only Michigan has jurisdiction over any disputes.
  • Agreement Not to Sue: In consideration of the opportunity and expectation to receive payment, you agree to waive your rights to file or participate in a lawsuit (including a class, collective, or private action, or any other type.) You will be paid unless we do not get paid, we determine you solicited fraudulent submissions, or federal or your state's laws prohibit us from paying you.
  • Severance: If a court finds part of these terms and conditions unlawful or unenforceable, the remainder of them will stay in effect.
  • Agreement Acceptance: By participating, you agree to these terms and conditions between yourself and Latest Gadget Finds, LLC.
